Delta Dental of Massachusetts Announces Oral Health Heroes Award Program

Nominations are now open to recognize the exceptional work of oral health professionals in Massachusetts

BOSTON — November 21, 2024 — Delta Dental of Massachusetts (DDMA), the leading dental benefits administrator in the state, announced the launch of its inaugural Oral Health Heroes award program to recognize the exceptional work of dental professionals across Massachusetts.

Each year, the Oral Health Heroes award program will honor individuals or organizations throughout the Commonwealth for their outstanding contributions to advancing oral health. Delta Dental of Massachusetts will make a $5,000 donation to a nonprofit organization of each winner’s choice.

Delta Dental is seeking nominations from the community for the Oral Health Heroes awards. Anyone may submit a nomination, and eligible nominees include community health centers, public health programs, dentists, hygienists, and other oral health stakeholders committed to expanding access to oral health care in Massachusetts.

Oral Health Heroes nominations are due by January 30, 2025 and can be submitted online at expressyourhealthma.org/oral-health-heroes.

The winners of Delta Dental’s first annual Oral Health Heroes awards will be announced in early 2025.
