Delta Dental – Voluntary plans
Our voluntary plan designs are a smart alternative for employers who want to offer dental coverage but want to do so at little or no cost to the company. By choosing voluntary plans, organizations typically contribute less than 50% of the premium, or not at all.
These affordable plan designs are an excellent option for small businesses (5-49 employees), as well as larger, cost-conscious groups. Employers can choose from multiple voluntary plan options, available with or without orthodontia, all built around our two most popular networks:
- Delta Dental Premier Network
- Delta Dental PPO Network
Regardless of which voluntary plan is used, members enjoy the following benefits:
- No deductible when care is provided by a participating dentist
- Up to $1,000 in dental benefits annually, for most plans
- No waiting periods or pre-existing conditions for coverage
- No balance billing
- No claims forms when care is provided by a network dentist
- Rollover Max, which allows a portion of a member’s unused annual maximum to be carried over to the next year, for greater value. Limitations apply, and some programs exclude Rollover Max. Please refer to your benefit materials or contact customer service for more information.
